One Last Trip Up North
What’s great about this time of year? It’s still technically summer, and if we are lucky, the temps start to drop and the weather is perfect for one last “summer-up-north-weekend-getaway.” We are spoiled being located in the Mitten state with so many beautiful spots for a long weekend, but Petoskey, in particular, is a favorite spot up north no matter the time of year.
Petoskey has much to offer, both its visitors and the lucky few who call it home year-round. You can find great food everywhere, but exceptionally great food can be found at the Palette Bistro. With three different atmospheres for your dining experience of choice, the Palette Bistro offers a combination of lasting memories and delicious, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. A recent winner of the 2023 Red Hot Best Competition based out of Traverse City, it is easy to see why Palette Bistro made the list. An upscale and expansive menu offers something for everyone. But if that’s not enough, their rotating “featured menu item” will seal the deal on a second visit, for sure. Executive Chef Scott featured a roasted scarlet snapper dish served over roasted vegetables and complimented by a savory red wine sauce that we are still dreaming about.
There’s still time for one last getaway. Be sure to add a visit to Palette Bistro in Petoskey to enhance your summer one last time with good times and great food.
